Gratitude

What am I grateful for?  What could I be grateful for? What have I not recently thought about that I should be grateful for?


How can I pre-load my mind with positive energy today so that I am better able to cope with the challenge of sticking to a diet / workout / resolution? 


What 10 things could I be happy about? 50? 100? If my diet / resolution / life, and or the life of my loved ones depended on it, could I make / update / improve my major list of things I am happy about?


How can I better remind myself about my list of things I am grateful for all day / all-week?


Who is in my life that I am grateful for? How could I do a better job of expressing my gratitude to myself for this person / people?


How much more amazing would my life be if I spent more time thinking about the amazing experiences I’ve had, the wonderful people who have been and or are currently in my life, and the stuff in my life that I should be grateful for?


How can I enjoy the amazing things I have in my life more today than I did yesterday?


What products do I already have that I am grateful for?  What products did I look forward to purchasing 1 month ago? 5 years ago?  10 years ago?  Am I still grateful for them? 


What services am I grateful for? What experiences have I had that I am grateful for?  What accomplishments am I grateful for?


What have I waited for that I have received?  How can I appreciate it more? 


How could I be more grateful for the gifts in my life?  How can I be more grateful for the things I’ve earned than I was yesterday?


Who am I most happy to have met?  Who else am I happy to have met?  What lessons have I learned from these people? 


What did I learn yesterday that I am grateful for?  Last year?  10 years ago?  19 years ago?  What did my ancestors learn over the last 1000 years that I should be grateful for? What am I grateful for about these lessons?   


Attitude

How can I improve my attitude today? 

How can I prepare my attitude for future challenges?

How have I overcome setbacks from the past?

Who do I know that has a great attitude?

Who have I heard about that has overcome great obstacles?  What does this person have that I don’t have?  Was this person luckier than me?  Do I see the irony in the last three questions? 


When was the last time I gave myself credit for overcoming great obstacles?


What skills and or qualities were most difficult for me to develop?  What classes / trials were most difficult for me to pass?  How can I be more grateful for my growth?


How can I get (more) meaning from my suffering today?  How about yesterday’s suffering? 


How can I spend more time each day feeling sorry for myself?  (Just kidding)  How many minutes do I spend feeling sorry for myself each day?  How many minutes do I spend feeling unbelievably happy & excited about my life each day?  How can I improve this ratio?  Do I see how improving this ratio can help me improve my bench, squat, deadlift, mile run, body fat %, finances, etc.?


How will I grow as a result of my actions today?   


How could I grow from yesterday’s actions?  


Do I really believe that the best things in life are worth working for?


Can I think of a time when an adversity or setback actually led me to a greater triumph? 


Can I think of a time when a challenge or crisis actually made me stronger?


What do I have in common with people who have achieved great things?  How can I do a better job of remembering the great things I have achieved?  How can I give myself more credit for sticking with my resolutions? 


Spiritual Growth

How could I do a better job of appreciating the miracle of my life today?


How do I define spiritual growth?


How can I grow spiritually today?


How can I feel closer to the creator today?


What music makes me feel energized? What are my favorite songs? How can I find a way to listen to my favorite songs today? How can I find more “favorite songs” to listen to?


When was the last time I took time to “smell the flowers”?  How could I “stop and smell the flowers” more today?


What’s great about my current situation?


When was the last time I felt spiritually alive?


What happened that made me feel spiritually alive?


What could I do to become more spiritually alive today?


What could I pay attention to today that would make me feel that I am a spiritual gift?


What special things are happening today that I could pay attention to?


Esteem; self-esteem, confidence, achievement

Why do I have such a high self-esteem?  Why do I love myself so much? 


What could I love about myself more? How have I earned a high self-esteem?


What characteristics do I have that make me unique?


How do these characteristics make me special?


What have I accomplished and or worked toward that I am most proud of?


What would I like to accomplish that would raise my self-esteem even higher than it is now?


What am I confident about? It’s been said that the amount of confidence is directly proportional to the amount of preparation: What would I like to prepare for?


What area would I like to be more confident in? How would I feel if I had more confidence?  How would I walk if I had more confidence? How would I talk if I had more confidence?


How would I hold myself if I had more confidence?  Why do I have so much confidence?  In what ways am I an expert? How can I become more of an expert?  What am I willing to work at to become better at?



The “Bucket List”

What’s in my bucket list? When was the last time I updated it? What did I learn?


What would I most like to do if I had unlimited power, finances, contacts, energy, freedom, education, mobility, intelligence, tenacity, resolve, commitment, etc.? 


Sometimes it’s useful to consider the same questions with constraints.  What would I do if I only had $100, but I could spend it on anything I wanted? How about $1,000? $100,000?


What would I do if I had 1 free day to spend anywhere in the world?


What would I do if I could meet 1 person and convince her/him to do whatever I wanted?  


What miracle could I start enjoying right now?


What magical outcome would I produce if I could direct 10 million people toward a goal?


What item from my bucket list can I do a better job of enjoying today?  What amazing bucket list opportunities are people around me allowing themselves to enjoy?


What bucket list opportunities will soon be available to me?


If my life and or the life of my loved ones depended on it, could I list 50 “bucket list caliber” opportunities that are currently / and or will soon be available to me?  How can I do a better job of identifying and or enjoying them?


What item from my bucket list can I do and or work toward today?
